Hi! All,
I have newly subscribed to this list - This is my
first time of using linux and I have installed it on
my laptop Toshiba Tecra 750DVD
using the CD's that came along with the RED HAT
Linux Unleashed book
I have a 3COM 3C574-TX PCMCIA card. I have
downloaded the .c file required for this particular driver but
while runnign the make it tells me that the source
is not found
can anyone advise where can i find the
source.
there were 2 cds with the book. on the second CD,
there is a directory SRPMS which I think has the source RPMS
so I installed 'kernel-2.0.36...." using the
command rpm -i kernel-2.0....
but even after doing this I couldnt see anything in
the /usr/src/linux directory other than just the include sub dir.
Please advise. Many Thanks in advance
