Hi,
I have Linux RH 6.0 installed on a primary slave. I used to boot through a
floppy created during the installation process.
Now I went and ran lilo. I got a message saying that bad signature record on
/dev/hdb1, but lilo got installed.
Now when I turn off my primary master through bios and boot through slave, I
get the lilo prompt.
On pressing enter, linux uncompresses, and every thing seems to go ok, but
it stops at
Partition Check
hda [PTBL] [524/255/63] hda1
hdb [PTBL] [526/255/63] hdb1 hdb2 <hdb5>
Autodetecting raid arrays
autorun...
...autorun done
Kernel panic : VFS : Unable to mount root fs on :03:01
Do I need to give any special lilo commands ro make it work ?
