Hello friends,
I m facing the following error while installing Redhat 6.0,
--> Kernel panic : VFS : Unable to mount root fs on :08:01 <--
I tried it installing thru floppy but the same error, nd my Harddisk also
does not get formatted on ext2 fs, when linux starts formating the HDD it
seems that the machine hangs and i have to just reboot it and again start
from scratch. Pls help me if ne one has encountered such problem and has
solved it.
