huh?
even though my machine is running as a home PC
it is hardly turned off for 4 hrs a day. I access my windows partition
Access the net, ftp , telnet and it has yet to crash or corrupt the hard
disk.
It is however true that many libraries are not backward compatible but
knowing the community such probs are rectified in a matter of days.
Your admin however has to keep updating himself by Usenet or mailing
lists posts

Aditya

PS: please ask him which mailing list I have been on several mailing
lists and literally read through all the (okay, okay at least the headers,
never once have I come across hard disk crashing because of Linux
as such, forget RH 6.1)

Aditya
