Ravindra file system corruption can be handled through fsck
but Hard Disk crashing   That 's rather extreme don't you think
And RH 6.1 being unstable. I have heard of kernel instability
but whole distrib being unstable would have adverse effect
on the open source community. I think I am actually going to check
the uptime of my PC( No way Electricity is just not free)

| Kernel 2.2.10 (and maybe 11) did have some problems. They indeed caused
| file-system corruption (in some very specific cases). Never bothered to
| get into the details though ... because I never faced any problems in my
| case ;-) (didn't use 10&11 ...)
