Although slightly unrelated, my ultimate goal was to have something like
www.netledger.com running on my server. But I did not want to redesign
a basic a/c sys from scratch. That was why I was looking for a good a/c
backend
system.

Why dont you guys on this list get together and develop such a system like
netledger ?
May be it can be a hit in India.
