I use a cirrus logic (CL-GD5465 {laguna chipset} -
4MB video ram.
I use it upto 1600x1200x16bit.
used it 1200x768x24bit..
( on a smile 15" monitor in linux... superb colors.).
the claim is that it will run 1600x1200x24bit.. but I haven't tried it
out...
The chipset is supported.... no installation problems..
performance in excellent in both OS's.
