X-Chat is goddamn good. At the console, I prefer BitchX.

There must be over 100 of them. I use GnomeICU.

GAIM for AOL is pretty good. It even supports the new protocols. GtkYahoo
takes care of the other category (haven't seen it yet, just downloaded it).

MSN on Linux is either a nice joke or someone's idea of showing Microsoft
the finger. I'm not aware of any client supporting this protocol.
