[ILUG-BOM] sawmill installation

I got the chip march CD and i tried to install sawmill
sawmill said it required librep and rep-gtk....
their rpms were in the same dir so i tried installing them...
and they ask for libncurses......
now where' that......
to be more precise....How do i install sawmill...
Also what's vnc....it's on the same CD....
