Guys, if I wanted to go in for an AMD processor based system, what would
you suggest. Not high end, just something that will run the basic apps, a
window manager, email & web, graphics and multimedia.
What processor, RAM, HDD, Display card? Printer - HP 610 (old one) good
enough? Colour not needed.
As far as sound goes, I think a Yamaha card is good, and Creative CDROM.
What software would be required for these tasks?
- Graphics (apart from Gimp)
- Games (I don't play any, so ya'll gonna have to suggest what I can get)
- Office (SOffice or WPerfect?)
These things must be MS compatible.
Shouldn't be too expensive.
