I have a SiS 6215 card with 2MB VRAM which gives me 1280x1024 resolution
under Linux at 8bpp. At 16 bpp I can get 1180x900. However, you need a
good multisync type of monitor for this card to work (I have a Samtel).
My XF86Config file is an adapted version of a file I got from somebody's
web site more than a year ago. Unfortunately I dont remember the URL now.
Those who want to have a look at it can mail me off the list (why waste
b/w?).
Kartik.
