Hi,

As most others have already pointed out, we should be talking about distros
here and not "packages". Personally, if you are just a no-hassles user like
me, I think you should stick to RHL, since its very well supported by PCQ,
which comes out with periodic updates, lots of articles and stuff. You
don't even have to run around for getting upgrades and goodies - simply
keep an eye on the PCQ issues.

There are lots of other distros like SuSE, Caldera, Slackware, Aryabhatta
... (ducking :-D ) and many people who will swear by each of these. If you
really want hard core performance and all, I guess you will have to try out
two or three yourself before settling on any one.

In the end, I think that if you tweak and customize your system this way
and that, the distro shouldn't really matter.
