Hey buddy,
what I meant to say was it would rather be nice to have a simple tutorial
put up as the one available on the pc-quest site. Atul chitnis has done a
wonderful job in that tutorial. IMHO, since you understand sendmail better,
what I asked for is, why don't you put similar kindda tutorial. Just
explaining taking 2 scenarios, one of a SOHO and other of a corporate who
has a leases line or DSL connectivity into consideration. As the former
tutorial doesn't talk much about the files like sendmail.mc, sendmail.cw and
other files under /etc/mail directory and its usage.
Also try and explain in what circumstances would a person require DNS and at
what place he can do away with a simple hosts file.
I know its some kindda spoon feeding. But we are only trying to make the
life of Linux users simpler :-)
