yesternight, one friend of mine was helping me in installing SUSE Linux 6.3 on my pc.
(i was not aware 6.4 is available). he had a single copied cd. what are 6cd + 2
floppies for?
system halted first after 60% completion, next time it halted after 45% completion.
hence gave it up and installed good old redhat 6.1. what could be the problem? (as if
anything can be done during installation)
how is SUSE compared to redhat, mandrake and others.
suse is a whooping 1300MB having 524 packages for full installation san games etc.
redhat is only 600MB. (and we i loved to call windows bulky)
i noticed that redhat uses one linux native and one other swap partition. but SUSE
made one more, second, linux native partition, whatever the hell for.
