Dear Linuxers,
I have just completed the installation of SuSe 6.3 with
the entire 1500 pacakages. I have no previous experience with SuSe and
have been using RedHat only. I have encountered the following problems
:
1) I cannot mount the CD-ROM even after loading the CD-ROM
Configuration using YAST
2) I cannot start the X server using kdm as it shows a
"/etc/rc.config.d/console.rc.config" file as missing.
It can be really nice that anyone using SuSe 6.3 can mail it to me.
3) Also to configure the 800 by 600 resolution using sax?
4) I also cannot connect to MySQL coz of the floowing error:
"Can't connect to the local MySQL through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock'
