Sound like academic idealism to me; referring to another thread about GNU,
the software enineers/programmers have stomachs to feed too! Even ESR's
"The Cathedral ..." makes a lot of references to "Maslow's Heirarchy of
Needs" (BTW, I think I am supposed to study that as part of the 6th Sem
Economics that is being forced down my throat :-) )

Utopia - ou (not) + topos (place) - meaning "Nowhere" literally. An
imaginary place where everything is ideal and no evils are present
(although *hunger* isn't mentioned specifially in the definition.)
