Hi I have a broadband service of Exatt. I have it since last 6 months. It is a monthly service(per month payment +unlimited usage) from a local dealer with a makeshift office who provided internet connection for various ISP's. In the last 4 months there has been too much downtime. Sometimes when you need to check mails or just get on to IRC or chat with relatives it is down. Sometimes the service is down for 3+ days.Contacting the person does not give any plausible answers. I had taken a broadband connection with the thought that I would get a always on connection. Also it would be easier to download distros through bittorrent which I have done in the past months. But after that I realised that I do not download distros everyday. So my usage was limited to downloads of distros and other stuff and surfing/chat/irc/email Although I am continuing with the existing broadband for another month I want to have a dialup for those intermittent downtimes.
What are my options. 1.MTNL (already have a phone and need to connect modem and dial have done it earlier from windows and linux both) 2.Reliance(somebody in office suggested it have made an inquiry) 3.Tata Indicom(have used it at my friends house and speeds are ok for normal activities) 4.Any other suggestions and alternatives are welcome Thanks िऩऩाद बापट
