:-) Harshal you took the words out of my mouth. There is no point in hating or under-estimating a giant like Microsoft. The reason why M$ OS is so popular is bcoz everyone (NOT all ;)) likes it, very easy to work with for an average user. When i say about an average user, its abt a user whose main job is to get things done with a computer.
