Why would you want to change file associations?

And why would you want a _user_ installing anything? Please do not
conflate administrative issues with use issues.

Oh, and not all of us use bloatware. For one thing, I dislike the XP UI
(and Mac OS X is cumbersome to use). You keep forgetting that all
these are learned things.
