P4 2.8CGHz with HT Northwood 800MHz FSB. 256MB single channel DDR400 
will load Ubuntu dapper drake(?) in about 3 minutes _inside_ QEMU with 
the proprietary plugin loaded ( fast-qemu?? ) :)

Dunno why it takes 7 minutes on real world machines. The QEMU machine 
has only 192MB RAM available at its disposal.
