Hi list,
I have a Tata Indicom VDATA PCMCIA card for internet access when out of office.
Is it possible to use this with Fedora core 6? Any pointers please.
I have been using this one since a few months without any
issues at all. Its been tested in different places in this country
i.e. Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Faridabad, Chennai, Panvel. We have
been using wvdial ofcourse.
It has always worked out of the box for me and Anurag.
Both of us are using same laptop model ( IBM TP 42 ). Both of us are
using Dapper or greater. But ofcourse it has nothing to do with the
distro, the kernel is more responsible, I guess. Mine is 2.6.15-27-686
from the Dapper repos.
Cheers!
