hello all,
I am doing an installation of a few computers with orca (the screen
reader) for blind people.
it is at a very remote village where internet is not very strong.
I have to do a apt-get install for gnome-common
and also apt-get build-dep gnome-orca.
both this commands connect to the internet and need to download the packages.
now what I am trying to understand is whether dvd is worth the download?
will gnome-common be available on the dvd?
I am aware that orca is indeed available so no worrys. I am only
worried about the dependencies which apt-get downloads from internet.
if dvd has most of what is on the web based repositories, then my
requirements will be fulfilled and to make the computers accessible, I
wont need internet.
regards,
Krishnakant.
