sorry for wring info this error  message i get  when i  try to  boot  live
cd / live  usb of  ubuntu .

but when i tryied gentoo it got booted without that error...

today i tried again and after getting that i waited some time and ubuntu
booted. but while installing after creating partition when it write data to
the hard disk it gave an error that Rom or hard disk is not proper...and
they need to be changed...but my both things are working fine...

fd0 is the device for diskette in first floppy drive.  is there an
> option to change the drive to usb flash? they are typically accessed
> from /dev/sdaX or similar device.


no there is no such option..in my bios...ihave  intel915GAV mobo.
