It is an identified bug which I had submitted to Bugzilla. You can

BTW, The only solution is - 

    # /etc/init.d/network stop
    # /sbin/ip addr flush eth0 
    # /etc/init.d/network start

This problem was solved in the initscripts updates and was not observed
in Redhat 7.3.
