Well I just read message of Saswat Banerji,I think it's easy to migrate to linux so we can convince customer.I have over 2 years experience on linux and java where i have done same thing like migrating application to linux.The only thing we have to do is give good technical support to customer after migration.Once we do for one customer then remaining customers will be convinced automatically.There is a good business opportunity here in the linux support and
