Yes, I can connect to mailserver manually using SMTP and mail delivers
perfectly.
Even Pine works without any problem.

I would like to mention one small issue here. [All IP/domain are fake]

my hosts has entry for
mymailserver.com 192.168.10.25
This is for internal network.

When I make a dns query
mymailserver.com 202.56.230.146

from my internal network I cannot connect to 202.56.230.146. So I get error
"connection refused from mymailserver.com

Pine must be using /etc/hosts entry to find internal IP, so it works
perfect.

Is there any way so that I can tell sendmail not to make a nslookup for
mymailserver.com and refer /etc/hosts.
my hosts.conf has order hosts,bind

Richard
