GLUG Meeting on 8th 4pm at PUKAR, Near CST. ------------------------------------- We are trying to indianize KDE. We have translatted po file (of kedit) but after making mo file and putting it in appropriate dir (/opt/kde3/share/locale/hi/LC_MESSAGES/kedit.mo ) and exporting lang variable when we started kedi we saw no change. When we started kedit again it showed square boxes for all entries(both translated and untranslates). When i copied german mo file in hindi dir then also it showed boxes. While when LANG=de it works fine in german. Anybody having any idea why so?? Most interesting is that after placing mo file and starting kedit first time we saw no change but second time onwards(even after deleting hindi mo file) when LANG=hi it shows only boxes. Anybody having any ides.
