Hello Sir,
I have also faced the same problem a lot of times, but now i am using
XOSL boot loader to boot into any of the 9 OS present on my
system(redhat 9,FC 2,Mandrake 10,Debian 3,Knoppix,Win2003
server,WinXP,Win98)

I install the boot loader in the installation partition itself(like
/hda/dev6)and not on to mbr.And after install i setup xosl to boot the
required os.

Regards,

Rohit Baisakhiya.
