kg Yeah it does show the Card details .. it's a DLink Lan Card. So it shows "Realtek ...." If "redhat-config-network-gui" is the same dialog brought up from the Desktop Start Menu->System..->Network. I tried that before posting here.. it shows the network card inactive. I tried putting in a static IP instead of the default DHCP, didn't work.
