AFAIC, M$ has no morals or ethics. They lie, cheat, steal, rip-off people
etc... But I think they are the biggest reasons why GNU/Linux has progressed
so far. The FSF wasn't popular before the Linux kernel came around. Once the
Linux kernel came around they had a full fledged OS that could probably
rival M$ Winbloze. After 5-10 years of development IMHO GNU/Linux has
progressed far enough to call it a desktop OS. The only point where it lacks
is drivers. But then again why has it progressed? Me thinks its because of
Winbloze.
What can I say? It's human nature. Even M$ didnt release Win XP till Macs
were well ahead of winbloze. Though, winbloze users paid huge $$ to M$ they
didn't get returns. Atleast perceiving the Linux & Mac threat M$ is
improving its products!
So to make a long story short, don't discuss M$'s morals or ethics since
they don't have any! No use discussing something that doesn't exist ;)
