It really doesn't matter all that much. 97.5% of the root DNS traffic is
bogus domains. Most DNS servers have the roots cached anyway.

Also, the only benefit an end user will get is if their ISP is peered
at NIXI.

BTW, who was this a press release for? Affilias? NIXI? GoI?
