Sob! :( Don't give up windows completely, you never know when you will
require it to download heavy files for linux, using the only available
windows software for your faster isp.
About Evolution, if it can import from mozilla or any other client that
has its windiws versions too, then first import all OE mails in the
windows version of the other client and see if Evolution can now import
those messages.
