cc-by license allows you to transcode it to any format you want. cc-by
license for the videos is the link to FOSS. If the list policy is to
discuss only about software I rest my case.

If that is the opinion of the entire list (at least one more person
seems to agree with my interpretation) I rest my case.

I thought cc-by license selection is relevant for the list and on
topic, especially with the comment from Lawrence Lessig.
