Hi guys, I had set up my dad's laptop running Ubuntu to connect to Youtelecom broadband using pppoe. Everything has been running fine for many years and suddenly on Saturday it stopped working. It connects to the net and immediately disconnects. The Youtelecom support guys are unable to help as none of them know anything about linux and I'm on the other side of the world so unless he can actually connect to the Internet, there's nothing much I can do to debug the issue.
