And who is that vendor - SchoolOS? If the vendor is the system/network integrator then who will s/he turn to fix the problems? Most distributions have either paid or community support (mailing list, web forums). I think it would be better to explicitly state what kind of support is available and where to find them; especially when the distro is targeting schools.
