I don't mean to dampen spirits but a business is run by people who trust each other and can be considered trust worthy, as loyalty to the company means a lot for the company's secure future. An open model that allows everyone to join in may not be a nice idea after all for the company in the long run. People who are looking for a foothold will join, sponge off and leave. A farmers' cooperative is a singular body where all the farmers pool in their resources and no one can go it all alone so there is no danger to the organisation. A cooperative housing society is an organisation that is created to streamline and share the cost of maintainance of the premises in a collective manner.
