"against freedom"?  That's like saying that a law preventing me from  
chaining you up is against my freedom to chain people up!  Preventing 
people from creating restrictions is not a restriction, except in a very 
twisted world view.

Anyway, I'm not getting into a mindless GPL vs BSD debate here.  I 
personally believe that a freedom extends only as far as it doesn't 
impact on another freedom, and the the GPL is the best way to preserve 
the freedom and openness of software.  You are welcome to disagree as 
long and as loud as you wish, I'm done.
