In modern Linux desktops, there are issues with editing config files
directly as the GUI utilities like 'Network Manager' do not use these
settings and require the config files to be blank. In some cases what
happens is that after editing the config file, the internet works in
command line but not desktop. It is best to use the gui in such cases.
For instructions, Sarfaraz could look up google.
