Try to answer to evrything:
1) the linuxptp is the "oficial" packet from ubuntu 16.04
2) the eth driver is e1000e from intel.
3) on one of the two sistem it always converge
4) on the second system it often diverge as showed in the log i sent. But some
times it converges.
5) on monday in will send you the log of a convergence
6) the problem is present even if i detach the gps.
7) what do you mean with letting the phc2sys resetting the system clock?
8) what parameter can i tune to try to fix it?
I tried to change max freq (-L) and kp ki.. but it seems that it doesnt change
anything

BTW, you can avoid the huge phase/frequency offsets by letting phc2sys
reset the system clock.

I bet you have a bug on the GPS/GM arm machine. It is serving a clock
that is out of control and cannot be tracked by the slaves.
