investigate from there ?
maybe a overflow of some calculation?
waht do you mean with totally broken?
the problem do you think is inside the linuxptp source code (ported to
AMba) or maybe in the ethernet mac driver?

Where did you the PHC driver for the ambarella? AFAICT that chip has
no mainline support.
