Hi,
I have a grandmaster server which in synchronising the system clock to the
hardware clock perfectly with sub 100 nanoseconds offset.
Next, I have another server (in a direct connection) configured to run as the
client. However, when starting this client server, the offset is very high and
after a little while it jumps the clock to 70.000 + seconds offset. The pattern
(as seen in the output below) right after LISTENING to UNCALIBRATED on RS_SLAVE
is however the exactly the same every time: going from 69.. to 22.. to 44.. to
66.. etc etc.. with the output always ending up in a clock jump setting it to a
70.000+ second offset.. Anyone here who knows what I am doing wrong? I have
stopped the chronyd as well as NTP services..
