I wonder if there are any functions in the ptp4l source that we could use
to check if the and how the phc2sys is synced
with ptp4l as this would be important for our use case to make sure
everything is in a valid state.
We don't have any problem with adding something to the source but it would
be just interessting.
Could it be that the pmc stuff has some way to get that information?
