OK, thanks for your response. But is the behavior as expected? At least a log 
message like "invalid domain number" would be helpful.

IEEE 1588 specifies that domain numbers 128-255 are "reserved".  There is no 
provision for using them in that standard.  If published profiles are using 
these reserved values, then it is a simple matter to support them.
