Has anyone had any luck installing Freebsd on our laptops? After selecting an option from the boot menu (ie. Default, NO ACPI, Safemode) from the install cd the laptop just turns off. This happened with 5.4 and is still the case with 6.0. Is there something specific I have to do to even get it to boot to the installer?
