Hi! I was planning on lurking here a bit before posting, but I see that this is a relatively quiet list. :)
I'm working at configuring Knoppix to work on my 3470 Notebook. I hope to use a USB thumbdrive for more permanent storage. However, there seems to be some problems with my lappy recognizing the USB ports. It fails to recognize both my 512 PNY Attache and my Microsoft USB mouse. I figure I can mount the ISO image under Linux and copy it back to my laptop (for customization). I'm using the grub loader to boot it without the CD. However, I have the same problems booting off of the CD directly. I know both of these items WILL work under Knoppix 4.0.2 because both work on my desktop with this OS. Also, these ports do work under Windows so I am assuming that there is no hardware failure. Any ideas what is going on? Thanks in advance. _______________________________________________ Linuxr3000 mailing list [email protected] http://mail.kdewebdev.org/mailman/listinfo/linuxr3000
