That method doesn't work for me. I have FC5 and the installer set up pci-assign-busses automatically. I still can't get PC Cards working. I've been trying both a modem and a CF card reader. Neither work:

CF card reader:

pccard: PCMCIA card inserted into slot 0
pcmcia: registering new device pcmcia0.0

Probing IDE interface ide2...
Probing IDE interface ide2...

ide-cs: ide_register() at 0x3100 & 0x310e, irq 3 failed

Modem:

pccard: PCMCIA card inserted into slot 0
pcmcia: registering new device pcmcia0.0

...then nothing.
