I ran qsynth as a control just to verify that MIDI and CoreAudio >are functional and there is no problem here. (Rui, even the peak level meters >work beautifully). So, I am not able to test the MIDI file on OS X yet. (BTW, does the MIDI file have non-English encodings ? ...since GarageBand was unable to load it when doing a quick test.) Finally, the native OS X GUI for qsampler looks great!!
