I had no idea LinuxSampler made the strides it has until someone made a post in the Reaper forum about the Windows version. Well, I got that working on my system and thought I'd play around a bit, while waiting for the VST version. Then Benno joined the forum to answer questions, and I learned of a few of the interesting things that are happening, like the scriptable sampler engine, which has me really excited.
So I thought I'd join the mailing list to check out what's new, and maybe contribute a few ideas, if I can. The one way I would really like to contribute is to make some nice sample libraries, and do some patching and scripting. I'm also taking a "C++ for Engineers" course this semester, which may or may not allow me to help with the details of the engine. We'll see. ;-) Anyway, thanks for letting me introduce myself.
