Hi linuxsampler devs and users!

I want to try to make my own sample-instrument. Since I write to this list I
want to use linuxsampler as a sampler.
So the main question is: What file format should I use? Is there something you
want to suggest?

I want to use high-res recordings (probably 24/96) and I also need:

-Stereo support

-Different Velocity Layers

-(Important:)The possibility to use different (random chosen or with some
weighting) samples on the same note so if a play a note twice than its two
sounds not the same repeatet. I want to avoid the maschine-gun effect.

-I think thats standard: A few phases/parts per sample so that I can have a
key-on, loop and key-off behaviour.

I hope you can help me so that I can produce some nice instrument(s) and
release it to the public.

Greetings,
Nils
