Hi,

Are there people who made gig files from the IOWA samples? I like to
have them or make them...
But I'm a bit confused about the meaning of the files.

for example: cello
What is the difference between arco and pizz?

And how should I translate this? Cello.arco.pp.sulC.C2B2.aiff (7.7mb)
<http://theremin.music.uiowa.edu/Sound%20Files/Musical%20Instrument%20Samples/Cello/Cello.arco.pp.sulC.C2B2.aiff>
What is the meaning of the codes?

I like to make a gm midi compatible .gig file as far as possible.

thanks in advance,

:)
